The Brooklyn Nets trio of Deron Williams (Flyin' Illini), Joe Johnson (Woo Pig Sooie), and Brooks Lopez (Stanford) when healthy and going is a Top 10 Trio in the Logo hands down. The Knicks need 'Melo Anthony to be great (not Clark Kent) but maybe an Avenger in order for the Knicks to have any shot every night until that "Triangle" works itself out!

The Nets leading at the break 55-42 behind 13 points apiece from D-Will and Lopez and ten points from Joe J. added to that lead in the 3rd going up 86-68. The Knicks after that 3rd frame could not get under a double-digit deficit losing 110-99.

The Nets get a game-high 29 points and six helpers from D-Will looking like the old Deron Williams the max-contract D-Will. Lopez added 20 points and nine boards with JJ dropping 18 points and seven boards. The Nets shot 14 for 27 from Queens and the Times Square and almost hit those magic numbers of 50 + 50 + 80 = 180.

The Knicks get a team-high 19 points from 'Melo Anthony on 5 of 20 from the field. Bloodline Hardaway Jr. adds 16 points with the artist formerly known as S.T.A.T. of @NikeBasketball turned back to Amare Stoudamire with 14 points and seven boards. Knicks rook 2014 2nd rounder Cleanthony Early from #ShockNation chips in with a dozen!    

Nets move to 3-2 while Team Triangle falls to 2-4. Brooklyn strikes first in the "Battle for Gotham City love" in 2014-15.
