The Boston Celtics lead 35-24 after one only to see that lead shrivel down to six at 60-54 at the break. The Celts running on all cylinders with "Double R" Rajon Rondo running the points seemingly had the game under control. Only to find themselves down the stretch not being able to make the necessary plays to win the game. Bulls escape Bean Town on Black Friday with a gut-check 109-102 win.
The Bulls made their run where the great teams do in the 4th behind key stops and excellent offensive execution. They used a 24-11 4th frame run after trailing 91-85 at the end of three. It was the Bulls Bench Mob led by Nikola Mirotic (13 pts 8 rebs) and Aaron Brooks (15 pts) that helped the Bulls pull this one out as they both led the 4th frame damage for See Red!
The Bulls closing the game on a 7-0 run in the last 1:20 was led by six players in double figures with Jo and Pau taking the glass back to the Bulls Charter with them as they combined for 29 boards. The See Red Butler led with 22 points and D-Rose added 21 points. Both Jo and Pau each had 15 points to go with all those boards. Bulls 18 offensive boards aided the win heavily.
The Celts were led by a game-high from Columbus, Ohio native Jared Sullinger's 23 points and ten boards. Avery Bradley added 18 points with Brandon Bass (16 pts 9 rebs) and Evan Turner (13 pts) off the bench adding to the C's offensive production. PG Rondo nearly went 10-10-10 triple-double with 8 points, nine helpers, and seven boards.
Bulls move to 10-6 and 3-3 on the Circus Trip 2K14 as they will get the Flatbush Pro Hoops in the Barclays on Sunday November 30 at 2pm ET. The C's will be in SAN Antonio on Sunday November 30th falling to 4-9.
