C'mon 18-4 midway through the first as the Bulls struggled to find an balance with so many new bodies having to have an out-of-body experience to keep the Bulls afloat. Bulls hung tough down four 41-37 midway through the 2nd before the Blazers go on a 20-6 run to close the quarter and led 61-43 at the break.
The Bulls got no closer than that 41-37 deficit as Bulls Rook Nikola Mirotic led See Red with 24 points and eleven boards if the Bulls could get any consolation out of this one. When the smoke cleared it was a 105-87 Blazers "W" as they shoot those magic numbers of 50-50-80. Rip City All-Star PG Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 21 points and nine helpers with the L-Train at 16 points and nine boards.
Along with a strong showing from Mirotic the Bulls lose PF Taj Gibson to an apparent ankle injury. He will now join D-Rose, the Spaniard Gasol, and Captain Kirk as the Bulls have four of their top 6 six players out and that doesn't help See Red moving forward on the 2k14 Circus Trip. Aaron Brooks had a dozen as the only other Bulls player in double figures.
Bulls fall to 8-5 as the Blazers move to 9-3...See Red will get the 4-7 Jazz in the new Salt Palace on Monday November 24th at 9pm ET.
