The Lakers at 1-7 and the "Black Mamba" shooting some 25 plus shots a game for the Lakers to win is not going to cut it through that 82-game trek. Even lead man Byron Scott eluded to the fact that what's offensive efficiency have to do with getting in people defensively. The Lakers need a dependable #2 player and from the looks of things that is not on this current Staples Purple and Gold roster.
