No excuses as the Ducks might not have had their best but you still put the skates on and get down. The Indian Head playing at a mid-May level vs the Ducks on Saturday Night skate right by them 4-1 as the "Bison City Blur" Patrick Kane goes "Light the Lamp" x 2.
Both Brad Richards and Andrew Shaw in frame one put the Hawks up 2-0 only to see Hampus Lindholm put one behind Hawks net minder Corey Crawford late in the 1st making it 2-1 Hawks. That 2nd frame as both teams skated well and midway through the 2nd Patrick Kane strikes for #9 on the season making it 3-1 Indian Head!
The night ended with the Hawks putting on a clinic with that "Fight for Lord Stanley" feel to it shutting down the 34rd and Kane getting an empty netter (EN) with one minute to go. Ducks net minder Frederik Andersen stopped 34 of 37 SOG with the Hawks "Craw-Dad" stopping 23 of 24.
Hawks out shoot the Ducks 38-24 but was 0 for 5 on the power play. The Quack Attack of L.A. was 0 for 2 but was way more physical with all those big bodies.
The Indian Head now gets the 2nd leg of the back to back staying in L.A. heading to Staples for "Date Night" with the Champs the L.A. Kings and like Hawks nation needs any reminder! Hawks 3rd in the central with 29 points just three points behind the new Music City Preds!
The Indian Head 4-1 on six-game Circus Trip 2K14 trying to make it 5-1...with the only loss to the "CANUCKLEHEADS" of Vancouver!
