The Chicago Blackhawks finishes their Circus Trip 2K14 on a high note as they beat the "Champs" L.A. Kings 4-1 in Staples Center behind two goals by center Brad Richards. The Hawks coming off a win last night in Anaheim beating up the Ducks continue to play some of their best Hockey to date.

The Indian Head clearly outplayed the Kings in every facet of the game as they jumped out early on the Monarchs. A Daniel Carcillo goal not even two minutes in set the table for the Hawks making it 1-0 Indian Head. Richards "lit the lamp" towards the end of the 1st making it 2-0 and the Monarchs never recovered.

L.A. came right back in the 2nd behind a tip-in right through Hawks net minder Corey Crawford's five hole making it 2-1. That goal was by Jordan Nolan and that would be as close as the Kings would get.

The Hawks Richards came right back three minutes later on a beautiful pass from Kris Versteeg making it 3-1 Hawks. The Indian Head would not allow another goal from the Kings wit Brandon Saad scoring an empty netter late in the 3rd for Hawks 4-1 "W"!

Crawford stopped 19 of 20 SOG while the Kings Jonathan Quick halted 21-24 SOG. Hawks dominated at the point of attack and at the blue line as they blocked 13 shots. The Hawks go 5-1 on the Circus Trip 2K14 and moves to 15-8-1 on the season for 31 points.

The Monarchs fall to 12-7-5 with 29 points...Hawks face the Blue Notes Wednesday December 3rd at the Madhouse on Madison!
