The Chicago Bulls playing the first of a Motel/Home back to back squeeze out a "W" in Philly against the Sixers on Friday night. The final score was no indicator of the real happenings as See red almost blew a double-digit lead late with under a minute to play. After the smoke cleared it was Bulls by three 118-115 and moving to 5-1 in 2014-15.
The score was tied at the break 57-57 before the Bulls who didn't take complete control of the game at t until late in the 3rd settled down playing Bulls basketball. See Red led 92-76 after three as the Bulls were riding the backs of Mike Dunleavy Jr. (27 pts 5-8 3pt FG) and the "See Red Butler" Jimmy (23 pts 7 rebs).
The Sixers chipping away at the lead finally got to within a point at 116-15 Bulls before See Red's Captain Kirk hit two free throws making it 118-115 to seal the deal. Tony "206" Wroten Jr. led Philly with 31 points on just 11 of 27 from the field as they fall to 0-6.
The Bulls will fly home tonight and have shoot around before game time (no morning shoot around) and host the C's from the "Hub" tomorrow night at the Madhouse. One would suspect to see the "Boost" by Adidas Hero D-Rose tomorrow night in the line up.
