The Cleveland Browns are ascending in the right direction as we head into the back end of that 16-game trek. The new Dawg Pound ambushes the Bengals in the "Jungle on the Ohio" 24-6 and it wasn't that close.

Behind a stable ground game blowing up that Bengals front for 170 net yards rushing. QB Brian Hoyer manning the offense for a cool, calm, and collected 198 yards on 15 for 23 the Browns move into a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC north.

It was the trio of Isaiah Crowell (12/41 TD), Ben Tate (10/34 TD), and Terrence West (26/94 TD) on the ground that propelled the Dawg pound into 2st place along with that stingy defense. If you can run the pig in weather that is slowly changing into wintry condition lookout!

The Browns "D" held the Bengals to 86 yards rushing and kept star WR AJ Green in check with 3 grabs for 23 yards. Bengals QB Andy "Strawberry Rifle" Dalton played like a Corn Field in this one passing for just 86 yards and throwing three INT's. Do I believe in Dalton sometimes and that sometimes list at Sunday Signal-Callers is led by Dalton and Jay Cutler among a few others.

Browns CB Joe Haden and that Browns secondary dominated and where was Bengals #1 WR Mohamed Sanu? The Dawg Pound won that all important turnover margin 4 to 1.

As we go to press the Bengals fall to 5-3-1 and 2nd place behind both the Dawg Pound and the Steelers. The Ravens stay in the AFC north basement which isn't all that bad.
