I told you in the Pre-Game in order for the Mavs to pull this one out Dirk had to either Hit the Phone Booth or guzzle down a few 5-Hour Energy Drinks backed up by Now and Laters with a side of Black Forest Gummy Bears with "Beast Mode" Marshawn Lynch on Stand By with the Skittles...as Dirk needed to be Germany's most famous Son...and he was.

OKC and Dallas go I-MAX Thriller near Deep Ellum and that busy A** I-35 at the "AA 214" and go extras to defeat the Thunder 128-119. In the grand scheme of things they needed to be over not under the .500 mark on their current home stand and they move to 3-2. The Thunder falls back behind the idle Spurs as April Fool's Day is lurking.

It was Jose Calderon who sent the game into Extras as he has been one of the Top 5 NBA Free Agent Pick Ups for 2103 and solidified that Point Guard Slot for the Mavs. The Thunder had a chance in regulation as Russell Westbrook missed and DIRK-iliscious missed at the buzzer. The Mavs took over  in Overtime out scoring the Thunder 17-8 behind Dirk, Jose, Monta, and the Matrix as the Mavs make it a family Affair beating OKC.

KD goes for 43 points on 15 of 27 shooting and 5 for 11 from the Arc. He also moves that Streak for 25 points or more to 36 games chasing Air Jordan's 40 games and the late great Wilt 20k's 104 game streak...and good luck with that KD. Westbrook added 23 points, seven boards, and eight helpers as the OKC Bench was big in this one.

The Mavs get 32 points from Dirk on 11 of 23 shooting as he also added ten Oranges and six assists.  This Win had much to do with Jose Calderon's play as he finished with 22 points including 6 of 9 from the Arc with eight helpers as it was paramount he matched Uncle Russ of OKC.

OKC with the "L" drops to 52-19 and 2.5 games back of the Spurs. The Mavs move to 43-29 hopping the Suns for the #8 seed as we have a Photo Finish everywhere in the Western Conference.
