The Blackhawks finally get the Offense going after that "DUD" of a game Sunday Night at the Madhouse as the Preds made it two W's in a row at the Madhouse. Hawks put 41 Frozen Ones on Net as they score in each of the Three Frames.
Andrew Shaw opened up the Scoring on a backhand shot with just eight seconds remaining in the 1st frame to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Fear the Indian Head made it 2-0 when Kris Versteeg gets a tip-in to make it 2-0 only to see the Stars strike back midway through the 2nd on a Backhand by Ryan Garbutt to make it 2-1 Hawks. One Goal just four minutes after that goal gets a Duncan Keith Slapper to make it 3-1 after three.
Garbutt then strikes again with just under six minutes to go to make it 3-2 Hawks with Hawks Nation feeling that "No...not again". With the Nets cleared and the Stars skating six on the attack Marian Hossa goes Empty Net to give the Hawks a 4-2 "W" and 99 points on the 2013-14 season. Corey Crawford stopped 25 of 27 shots as his Dallas Counterpart Kari Lehtonen stopped 38-41 as the Hawks kept sending Frozen Ones his way.
With the "W" Fear the Indian Head moves to 42-16-15 with 99 points good for 2nd in the Central and tied for #3 in the West with Ducks with Team Teal at 101 points and the Blue Notes at 103 points.
