Midwest Region Sweet 16 from Circle City, Indiana
#11 Tennessee vs #2 Michigan 7:15pm ET
The Wolverines will have to sloe down that Dynamic Duo of the Vols Inside/Outside Punch in Jarnell Stokes (14.7 ppg) and Jordan McRae (18.6 ppg). Rocky Top in turn will have to guard the Arc and slow down Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III among others if they want to advance. Both Teams like to get up and down and this should be a dandy and not just a prelude to UK vs the 'Ville in Indy. Three-Point Shooting, Inside Points, and Transition Buckets will be the key as well as the dreaded Foul Line.
Winner: Michigan
#8 Kentucky vs #4 Lousiville 9:45pm ET
Where do you start as UK beat Louisville back on December 28th, 2013 in Rupp 70-63 as both teams have changed drastically. The 'Cats Freshmen have risen to the occasion led by the Fort Bend, TX Travis HS Harrison Twins. Yes they combined to score 39 points on the Wheat Shockers but they also are averaging 9 turnovers per. James Young is the Key Cog to UK's Success while Julius Randle with Willie Cauley-Stein need to play even bigger in the Paint. RUSS-diculous is a Monster for the 'Ville and March Madness is his Planet. He will need Luuuuuuuuuuke Hancock to be Luke and Montrezl Harrell also needs help in the Paint. Chris Jones has been huge playing off Russ and they have been dynamite feeding off each other. The Money Ball along with Live Turnovers will be a huge factor in this one.
