He is not the most agile of Hot Corners in the Show but what he is is simply the nest at the Dish with Ash, Maple, or Bamboo. The Motor City Kitties Miguel Cabrera leads the Show at the Hot Corner and as one of the premier Players in the game. H has company though as we look at the Top 5 Hot Corners in the Show for 2014.
Top 5 HOT Corners in MLB for 2014:
1. Miguel Cabrera #MotorCityKitties aka "Miggy"
Are you serious as you could honestly say he is the best players in the game or at least the nest Hitter in the game. Making it Back to Back Junior Circuit M.V.P.'s hitting a robust .348 with 44 Taters and 137 Ducks on the Pond knocked in while scoring 103 runs. Then the nerve of "Miggy" to have an OPS of 1.078...any questions, comments, or concerns? He will not have Prince protecting him but he will have Victor Martinez behind him and Ian Kinsler in front of him for hat that will be worth.
2. Adrian Beltre #RangersBaseball aka A.B.
The Power Numbers slid from the previous three seasons as he hit in those three seasons through 2010-12 and average of 30 bombs and 100 ribbies including the 2012 Season with the Carmines. He just missed the AL M.V.P. in 2012 if it wasn't for two players in the AL names Cabrera and Trout. He is the Heart and Soul of that Rangers Squad and now he should get more pitches to hit with Prince Fielder #89 hitting behind him as well as OF Alex Rios most likely in the 5-Hole.
3. Evan Longoria #RaysNation
Didn't hit for average in 2013 but came on late to be a factor for the Rays Push to Winning Time and eventually losing to the Carmines. A .269 avg but 32 homers and 88 knocked in with 91 runs scored and 39 two-baggers is All-Star Like Numbers fro most but not Longoria. He still managed to finish 6th in AL M.V.P. Voting as he is the Leader of that Rays Hitting Attack.
4. Matt Carpenter #Redbirds aka "Carp"
A monster year at the dish as what didn't "Carp" do for that St. Louis Cardinals Offense. He led the Show in Hits 199, Runs 126, and Doubles 55 as he set a new record with that two-bagger feat. A .318 average with 11 bombs but 78 ribbies for 2-Hole Hitter. He now moves over from 2nd to 3rd as he is still based wreaking havoc at the dish...a Top 5 Hot Corner in 2014.
5. Josh Donaldson #SwinginAs aka J.D.
No one knows about this Dude unless your an MLB Head or part of A's Nation. He came on in 2013 out of nowhere playing in 158 games and hitting .301. he also mustered 24 "Big Flies" and 92 RBIs with 37 doubles and 89 runs scored. He led the AL West Back to Back Champions in most Offensive Categories for 2013 and should in 2014 with a locked-in Yoenis Cespedes hitting behind him.
