The San Diego Aztecs play "D" and the North Dakota State Bison Slipper hit Gravel not any nice pavement as the Aztecs bring the "Show" for a 63-44 "W". Senior PG for SDSU Xavier Thames dba on Campus Hardwood as the "X-Man" had 30 points and six helpers on a cool 9 for 19 shots and 4 for 9 from the Arc. The Bison shot just 30% from the field and below 20% from the Arc.

SDSU led just 30-23 at the break then pulled away late as the Bison had it to within striking distance at 47-40 SDSU at the seven minute mark but could not muster any offense. The Aztecs Dwayne Polee II then took off late as he added 15 points and six boards for SDSU. The Bison was led by Kory Brown's 13 points as he was the only Bison Player in double figures.

The Aztecs now will move to the West Region Sweet 16 and play the winner of Arizona/Gonzaga as that will be held in Anaheim, California just two hours away from the SDSU Campus...lookout!
