The Iowa State Cyclones comeback from the "March Madness Dead" and beat the UNC Tar Heels 85-83 in dramatic Big Dance Fashion. Down 76-68 with just over three minutes to go the Cyclones go on a 13-5 run to tie the game at 81-81 with just under a minute to go. On the ensuing Heel Possession UNC PG Marcus Paige has a Live Turnover as the Cyclones DeAndre Kane makes the lay-up to put the Cyclones up 83-81. UNC Star PF James Michael McAdoo then was fouled as UNC tried to tie the score as he hits two free throws to make it 83-83. Iowa State gets the last possession as Kane strikes again over UNC Defensive Stopper J.P. Tokoto to make it 85-83 and with 1.6 seconds left UNC inbounds the Orange for no apparent reason only to run off at least two seconds without the time moving. Zebras get a huddle at the Officials Scores Table...Final Hilton Magic is in Spurs Community dba AT&T Center.
The Cyclones were led by DeAndre Kane's game-high 24 points as he hauled in ten Oranges and waited on seven Cyclone Tables as he did have seven My Bad's (Turnovers) with Big 12 P.O.Y. Melvin Ejim adding 19. UNC was led by Sophomore Star PG Marucs Paige and his 19 points with Freshman "BIG" Kennedy Meeks adding 15 points and grabbing thirteen Oranges.
Hilton Magic is off to the Sweet 16 as they will face the UConn Huskies in what is being determines as "Nellie Ball"...Smalls on Smalls and that is Shirts &Skins going Sweet 16 at an erratic pace in the East Region at World's Most Famous!
