The West Bracket held true as the #1 Seed Arizona Wildcats and the #2 Seed Wisconsin Badgers squared off for a chance to get to Jerry's House in Texas. The Pac 12 Champion 'Cats did what they could but ran into a 7-Footer in the end they could not handle.

A see saw affair at the "Pond" in Anaheim as the 'Cats and Badgers went Extras to get a winner. Behind 7' former Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois Star Frank Kaminsky's game-high 28 points and 111 Oranges along with smooth Bloodline PG Traevon Jackson (10 pts 5 asst) Wisconsin just made enough plays to win the ball game. Neither Team shot it well enough from two or three to say they win the game from there but it just came down to Key Players making Key Plays to decide the outcome. 'Zona just had no answer for Kaminsky who was also 3 for 5 from the "Land of Plenty".

"Desert Swarm" played well enough to win as they get 16 points from Pac-12 Player of the Year Nick Johnson who never really got on track Offensively in both game splayed in Anaheim. Big Kaleb Tarczewski added 12 points and four rebounds with Freshmen Rondae Hollis-Jefferson 10 points as the only three 'Cats in double figures. Aaron Gordon in what should be his last game at U of A had eight points but grabbed eighteen Oranges on just 3 for 11 shooting.

Wisconsin now awaits the Winner of the Midwest Bracket between the Kentucky Wildcats and Michigan Wolverines as we could have three Big 10 Teams in Big D...now how about them Apples!
