The New York Jets get a big-time "W" when few including myself the Bluedude gave them an "L".  The Jets go Kickoff to the Game-Winning FG by Jets Place Kicker Nick Folk and they beat the Falcons 30-28. The win elevates Gang Green to 3-2 and the Falcons fall to 1-4 after just ten months ago hosting the NFC Championship...Wow!

The Games wasn't won by Jets QB Geno Smith as he played great but in threnches as the Jets dominated both sides of the Pig. The Falcons couldn't get anything going on the ground and the game was lost on the Jets stopping the Falcons on 4th down right as time expired to end the 1st half. Just like that the Falcons find themselves four games back of the NFC South leading Saints as Who Dat owns the Tie-Breaker with a head to head "W" in Week 1.

Back to Smith and Company the Offense ran like clockwork. I myself have elevated Smith from being former Bengals QB Akili Smith to ex-Saints and Packers QB Aaron Brooks. He was 16 for 20 for 199 yards and three TDs. The Run Game also helped him out as they get a combined 118 yards from three backs and Geno eluding the rush and getting into space. The Jets win on a Week that saw the whole AFC East lose the Pats, Jets, and Bills and that would be called a productive week.

Matty Ice and the "Peach Drop 3" of Julio, Roddy, and Gonzo are not the problem. The Problem is up front and the Falcons are not winning those battles. Ryan was 36 for 44 for 319 yards and two TDs. Jones and Gonzo combined to grab 18 Pigs for 196 yards but they didn't score. That Jets "D" gets all that credit as DTs Muhammad Wilkerson and 2013 1st rounder Sheldon Richardson wreaked havoc on that Falcons O-Line. They combined for 8 tackles (4 assisted) and two Red Jersey Collections QB Sacks).

Jets CB Antonio Cromartie's battle with the Falcons WRs notably Julio Jones was classic...
