Say it isn't so as we get a 15-20 minute delay in the middle of the 2nd Inning but both John Lackey and Justin Verlander brought their A-Games as the Carmines shock another Tigers Ace.

Behind a RHP John Lackey crossing the T's and dotting the I's the Carmines rode his right arm for 6 2/3 innings as Lack allowed no Ducks to cross the dish and he struck out eight. In turn Verlander like Mad Max was in game two on paper won the game. Justin went eight strong allowing just four hits while walking one and striking out ten Carmines Hitters and made that one mistake to Mike Napoli who took him deep form a Solo Bomb. October Hardball is funny that way as it takes one stitched one to get in a hitters sweet spot and that could change the whole outcome in which it did in Game 3.

The games saw only ten hits as the Tigers Torii Hunter and Victor Martinez had two hits each form the Tigers. The Carmines get Napoli's Bomb to go with hits by Jacoby Ellsbury, Jonny Gomes, and Stephen Drew. The Carmines now lead the Series 2-1 as that Game 2 comeback might come back to bite Tigers Hardball right in the Backside!

Note: Tigers 3-4 Hitters Miggy and Prince combined for 1 for 8 with one hit and Three strikeouts....  .

A common theme in the League Championship Series is Aces continue to get hit and take Losses at an alarming rate...
