This is just what the NFC Doctors and NFC West Followers ordered for a Thursday Night Tilt as we have the 5-1 Seahawks traveling to the "Valley of the Sun" to play the 3-3 Cardinals. Do the Math and if the Cards get a "W" they push the Seahawks back into the Fray and a 1/2 game ahead of the 49ers and a game ahead of the Cards with the Rams also sitting at 3-3. Can Russ Wilson get the Seahawks Vertical Passing game going versus a Secondary led by Patrick Peterson? What about the Cards can they get any kind of resemblance to a Run Game as QB Carson will not last throwing the Pig more than 40 times? NFC West Business on Thursday Night NFL Week 7.

October 17, 2013 NFL Week 7 Thursday Night Football

Hawks Nest 206 #12s @ Red Zone vs #BIRDgang

Something has to give as the Seahawks are averaging some 150 plus yards on the ground per contest. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has more yards rushing than Cards #1 RB Rashrd Mendenhall. In turn the Cards are right around the Mid 80s on the ground as they would rather throw it if it was up to New Lead Man Bruce "Vertical Passing Game" Arians. The Cards need to stop Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch first and foremost and they see if that Seahawks Passing game ( 215 yds/g) can beat you. The Cardinals Front led by Darnell Dockett and Calias Campbell have to get it done. Hawks WRs Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, and Sidney Rice will have their work cut out versus a secondary led by Patrick Peterson and a Rookie in Safety Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu.

The Cardinals are averaging around 240 yards per contest through the Air. They cannot try to fool the Seahawks in using their Run Game as Window Dressing. That will get the "Legion of Boom" in  Nickel Sub Packages and that Hawks Front foaming at the mouth not worrying about the run. Cards WR Larry "Fitz" Fitzgerald needs Michael Floyd and Andre Ellington to step up in this one ..Man-Sized. Can the Seahawks Front stop the Bird Gang Run Game and force Carson and the Cards to go 3rd and a Mile all night long which plays right into the hands of the Hawks?

The NFC West Lead is on the line and with a win by the Hawks it keeps them ahead of the 49ers and put the Cards two games back with a date in the 206 looming. If the Cards win the 49ers need to win on Sunday and they will be tied. Meanwhile the Cards move within a Game of both. They both need it but from a numbers game the Cards need it and also need to protect their house!

Winner: SEAHAWKS 27-24...Hawks learned their lesson in the last game out of the Motel in Indy losing to the Colts...Buckle Up!
