The Tigers behind a strong effort from Max Scherzer being "Mad Max of Comerica" were cruising in game two as they led 5-0 heading into the bottom of the 6th. The Carmines add one run to make it 5-1 as the Tigers and Carmines go Zero in the 7th and the Tigers go zero in the 8th and then it happened...and only made for October Hardball!

The Tigers Scherzer left after seven allowing that one run and walking two as Mad Max strikes out thirteen. Jose Veras , Drew Smyly, and Al Alburqurque load the Bags up for the Red Sox and with Tigers Captain Save-A-Game Joaquin Benoit on the Bump facing Big Papi of the Carmines it happened...the Pitch...SMACK!...Short Porch.....annnnnnnnnnnnd we have a tie game at 5-5. Papi goes Granny and Fenway goes Crazy as Detroit Hardball Mind Set sinks like the Titanic.

Then with Red Sox OF Jonny Gomes on 3rd and no one out Red Sox Back Stop Jarrod Saltalamacchia gets a seeing eye single for the Red Sox win 6-5 and now we have a Series in the ALCS.

The Red Sox now head to Detroit and will face Tigers Ace #2 Justin Verlander in Game Three with a whole new attitude towards trying to get to the Fall Classic 2k13. Carmines shock everyone with that one except Red Sox Nation...Boston Strong!
