The Detroit Tigers were well on their way to a game seven as they had a 2-1 lead going into the bottom half of the 7th and then with bases loaded this happened...

Ducks all lover the Pond ...here is the pitch "Smack" are you kiddin' me it's back annnnnnnnnnnd gone as the Red Sox take a 5-2 lead as Shane Victorino goes Grand Slam and that shocks the Detroit Tigers. Victorino took Tigers Reliever Jose Veras Deep after they chased Starter Mad Max Scherzer after one out in the 7th and the other Tigers Reliever Drew Smyly loaded the bags. Ironically enough Mad Max left Game 2 and Big Papi went Granny on that Tigers Bullpen. Lightning struck twice on the Tigers and that is devastating for Detroit Hardball after they were oh so close.

Scherzer takes the loss and Red Sox Starter Clay Buchholz kept it close going five strong allowing just two runs on four hits. The Red Sox only had five hits in the game but made the most of them. Now they move onto to face the Redbirds of Baseball Town USA as the Red Sox will get Home Field Advantage die to the AL winning the 2013 All-Star game.

Congrats to Red Sox Nation and Detroit Hardball as there can only be one!
