An unlikely Pitcher is holding down the lowest ERA as we head through June Baseball. The Pitcher does pitch for Baseball Town USA and those Show Leading Redbirds of St. Louis. There are a few names you would recognize thrown in with a few rising stars on the bump on the Senior Circuit. The Senior Circuit has four pitchers under 2.00 or lower as the Junior Circuit had only two pitchers.

The Top Ten ERA's in the NL through June 9, 2013

Note: W-L in parenthesis

1. Miller #Redbirds 1.91 (7-3)

2. Kershaw #BoysInBlue 1.93 (5-4)

3. Corbin #DBacks 1.98 (9-0)

4. Zimmerman #NATitude 2.00 (9-3)

5. Harvey #Amazins 2.10 (5-0)

6. Wainright #Redbirds 2.34 (9-3)

7. Locke #Buccos 2.39 (5-1)

8. Minor #Braves 2.44 (8-2)

9. Strasburg #NATitude 2.54 (3-5)

10. Lee #PhightinPhils 2.55 (7-2)

Miller is a pleasant surprise but the Redbirds have the best record in the Show and then you have Aces Wainright and Lance Lynn to boot...Cards will be playing October Baseball.

Kershaw doesn't have the Record per say but he is a bulldog with Innings and Strikeouts. Remember in the 2012 Clayton was just 14-9 but had over 229 K's with a hard 2.53 ERA....meet the Dodgers new $200 million man.

Corbin was the first NL Pitcher to 9 W's and he has a sparkling ERA under 2.00 as the D-Backs are the NL West Leaders as we go to press.....remember Wade Miley has struggled in 2K13 with a 4-5 record.

Zimmerman has more than picked up the weight left by the 2012 dominant "Potomac 2-Pack" of S2 and G2..Stras and Gio. Stras still is Top Ten in ERA as he struggles to stay healthy...

Harvey is the new darling of the 'Amazins and for good reason as he is better than advertised...

Locke has been a steady hand in that Rotation led by A.J. Burnett...the Buccos are right in the thick of the NL Central Race...

Minor has been lights out and now Kris Medlen is trying to get that 2012 Game from the Bump back and the Braves are starting to hit a little...NL East Champs write it down!

Lee (along with Hammel) are the last two standing from just three season ago was those two with Oswalt and Doc Halladay....Wow how things can change quickly in the show.
