It came down to a scramble on the Hustle Board that former Boston Celtics Champion PG Rajon Rondo casually grabs for a mid-range game-winner and down goes the Celtics in front of a sellout crowd at the new Garden.

It was the Lakers shooting 22 for 41 from Worcester, Mass and surrounding areas that kept them in the game at a 54% clip. Boston shot 16 for 38 from Chest Nut Hill, Mass and an amazing 20 for 20 from the charity stripe. It just came down to stars making star plays and Rondo stepped up big.

All five starters for the Lake Show were in double figures with LeBron going triple-double with 28 points, a dozen boards and a dozen assists. Kyle Kuzma added 25 points with  Rondo chipping n with 17 points and ten helpers with seven boards.

Boston's "D" let them down as they got into an offensive game with L.A. never getting back to getting "Stops". Uncle Drew dba Kyrie Irving had a team-high 24 points with eight helpers and Jayson Tatum added 22 with ten boards. Frenchman Daniel Theis led that C's C]Bench with 20 points on 9 for 11 from the field.

Both Terry Rozier (19 pts 6 Asst) and Jaylen Brown (18 pts) starters on over half the NBA Teams played well off that C's Bench and that will help them in winning time as Boston's Bench is by far better than anyone else's in the NBA.

Lakers after a tough two weeks of starring on "Young and the Restless" now can get back to 82-game business moving back over .500 at 28-27. The C's fall to 35-20 despite the "L" and is getting back to Brad Stevens Ball...
