The Duke Blue Devils Game Plan versus the Virginia Cavaliers wasn't too shoot the Money Ball 13 for 21 and a whopping 61% plus it was just the way the game played out. Yes Virginia was smart to give Duke money ball chances closing down high percentage shots but open looks...that wasn't the game plan for UVA.
In the end too much of the Duke Freshman as Team Canada Phenom RJ Barrett goes team-high 26 points with seven boards as his game fits any style of play that's why the Dukies are so dangerous he adapts to anything on the fly.
Cam Reddish adds 17 as he and RJ combine to shoot 11-18 from the cheap seats. Zion Williamson's 18 points with five boards and five helpers and three steals was highlighted by a "Block" late in the second half maybe a few NBA Players could have made jumping from nearly the block to the corner and swatting the orange in mid-air flight.
The Cavs #1 dude Kyle Guy from Indy and former McDonald's All-American led #WaHoowa with 16 points with Ty Jerome 16 as well. The game was 39-35 at the break and looking at it even closer UVA just doesn't have the horses to stay with Duke as they go 0-2 vs Duke in ACC Play and the Cavs fall behind both Duke and UNC in ACC Play and full game.
Duke runs to 21-2 and 9-1 ACC Play and it won't get any easier for the Dukies and expect UVA to meet Duke in the ACC Tourney...for Round 3!
Note: Duke 16-23 FT UVA 5-7 FT who was the aggressor wins the game?
