Who knew and this was going to be a really dangerous game for the visiting Kansas Jayhawks and it turned out to be that and then some. After KU led 33-30 at the break the Wildcats from K-State behind three starters in double figures gets past the visitors 74-67.

Kansas State showed major composure once they grabbed the lead at the 16:30 mark 39-36 on a Barry Brown Jr. money ball and they never looked back. To the Jayhawks credit they stayed right on the heels of K-State most of the second half and after a Lagerald Vick "J" to make it 56-54 Wildcats KU didn't get any closer right under the six minute mark.

K-State used a 18-13 run to close the contest as a Cartier Diarra money ball at the four minute mark nailed it for the K-State. Brown Jr. led the Cats with 18 points with Xavier Sneed adding 14 points and seven boards with Dean Wade dropping a dozen with nine boards.

KU's 23 turnovers to K-State's 12 was the difference in the ball game as the starting guards for KU combined for 13 of the 25. If the primary ball-handler is turning it over its gong to be a party on the other bench.   Dedric Lawson led KU with 18 points and nine boards as he continues his stellar play despite playing the center position.

KU falls to 17-6 and 6-4 in Big 12 play while K-State moves to 17-5 and 7-2 in Big 12 Play and lookout for a new Big 12 Conference Champ and that is not taking shots at KU but I see it and feel it...
