The jury was out and we have a decision from Oklahoma Sooners two-sport phenom in Heisman Trophy Winner Kyler Murray the ride of Allen, Texas High School. Murray which most were thinking has decided to head to the NFL and for the "Shield" this adds to what could be a "Can't Wait" 2k19 NFL Football Season.For MLB who was behind the Oakland Athletics who needed a shot in the Arm as the Swingin' Elephants needed as well its a huge loss. Murray through reports will have to give up $1.29 million of his $1.5 million signing bonus he was given last year back to the A's. He will also forfeit a remaining $3.16 million he was due on March 1st of 2k19.
The Athletics through reports puts Murray on a restricted list and retains Murray's rights. Oakland because he chose the NFL over the A's does not receive a Compensatory pick and if the A's would not have signed him last season they would have had the #11th pick overall in the 2k19 MLB Draft.
Murray will be an intriguing prospect moving forward as I have him heavily being looked at by both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins. Tom Coughlin overseeing the Jags and former Patriots D-Coordinator Brian Flores takes over as lead man in the 305 and both organizations know its all about that position moving forward.
