It was billed as the "Comeback Boys" as both Matt Cain of the San Francisco Giants and Jose Fernandez of the Miami Marlins made their 2015 day view as both are coming off major injuries. It was Hernandez outlasting Cain as the Marlins win 5-4 as both look Ok on their 1st action in over a year!
The Gigantes struck in Frame one as Brandon Belt's RBI single and Buster Posey's sac-fly put San Fran up 2-0. Marlins OF Adeiny Hechavarria's RBI single in the 3rd got the Fish on the board making it 2-1 Gigantes.
Then in the 5th Gregor Blanco took Fernandez deep for a Solo blast making it 3-1 Gigantes. Only for Hernandez to hep his on cause taking Cain deep for a solo shot cutting that lead to one at 3-2. In that same inning the 5th Justin Bour goes three-run bomb giving the Fish a 5-3 lead after five.
Cain gets the "L" after going five giving up seven hits and five runs. Hernandez goes six scattering seven hits and three runs after a rocky frame one as he also gets the "W" and allows a bomb! Buster Posey finished the scoring with a solo blast in the 8th as the Marlins win 5-4.
Miami gets the three-piece sweep as they move to 34-36. The Gigantes fall to 42-38 and they need to get out of the "Bottom" 305 ASAP...
