The 2K15 NBA Summer League Championship is today but the votes are already in for the best players of the Vegas Summer League. Of the five players on the list at least three will start as my All-Sin City Summer League Unite is comprised of two Donut-Runners (Rookies), two 2nd year Pros, and a 3rd year Pro going "Bloodline"!
He displayed a cool and calmness to his game and he is NBA Ready at the PG or combo-Guard slot. He slipped to the Nugs and both the Knicks and Magic and the Kings might want that pick back. In the open floor he game is lethal and will be well-suited for that 5,280 feet above Ocean Water at the Pepsi Center!
"Bloodline" came alive in the Vegas Summer League after two stints in the D-League. Curry showed flashes of what Curry's do..."Shoot the Orange" and that he did as he led the Pelicans to a semifinal appearance. Now with Eric Gordon on an expiring contract and Alvin Gentry in the fold who was Associate lead man for the Warriors Curry might have found a home. The "Brow" commands a Triple-Team and Curry will stretch the hardwood.
"Uhhh I like it like that Slow Motion for me" as the last pick in the 2014 NAB Draft 1st round was a steal and I saw this coming. Former UCLA and Jersey City St. Anthony's H.S. Star has game its just not same-day or next-day delivery. He was a "Problem" in the Summer League and now he should impact that Spurs 2nd Unit and that Spurs Rotation for the 2015-16 season.
I have been watching this Kid since his days at Prep School Brewster Academy in New Hampshire as he starred with current OKC 2nd Year "Big" Mitch McGary. Warren like Anderson could have played in the 70s and 80s as his game reminds me a lot of a younger Paul Pierce right out of Phog Allen Field House. Now Warren should mix right in with the young core in the "Valley of the Sun" as he can score with the best of them in a variety of ways and angles.
Yes he turned head after head and playing with that "Why didn't the Lakers pick me" on his shoulders. Yes "Big Jah" didn't see it coming as he traded Sunset Strip for Geno's and Pat's Cheese steaks in a flash! He should be an immediate impact in the new Spectrum for the Seventy-Sixers especially with Joel Embiid out for the 2015-16 season. Offensively he is gifted and all Rooks or most need work on the defensive end!
