The Chicago Cubs not looking ahead of yesterday's game knew that Pale Hose Ace Chris Sale was on the "Bump" on Saturday. Well the Cubbies lose it in the 8th yesterday and the Chi-Sox with the "Wind at their Sale" takes game two 5-1 as the Pale Hose attempts to grab the Crosstown Cup 2k15!
The Sox got it started early on Saturday scoring a crooked two in the 1st behind a Tyler Saladino three-bagger and a Jose Abreu RBI single making it 2-0 Sox. Sale by the 3rd was cruising as he goes seven scattering six hits and a run moving to 8-4.
Then in the 7th the Sox put up three more behind a Alexei Ramirez RBI single and a Tyler Flowers two RBI double making it 5-0 Sox. Cubbies add one in the 7th as starter Jon Lester has yet to find a happy medium with the North Siders going seven allowing five runs on seven hits falling to a disappointing by his own admission 4-8.
Now we get game 3 on Sunday at Wrigley with Jose Quintana vs Jake Arrieta with the All-Star Break looming...Sox move to 41-44 and the Cubbies fall to 46-40!
