A 52-49 Spurs lead at the break slowly but surely turns into "Spur Wars" as the Spurs pull away from the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 104-86. It was for Team S.A.S. "All Hands on Deck" as the usual Spurs Stars do what they do with a little help from a Red Rifle.

That Spurs lead at half turned into a 81-71 Spurs lead as the Wolves didn't get any help from their Bench. The Spurs then closed on a nice run in the 4th and final frame with Dunc leading with 15 points and eight boards. PG TP9 added 14 points and ten helpers along with the "Red Rifle" Matt Bonner going 4 for 5 from the Arc adding 14 points with K.L. of the Riverwalk...Spurs SF Kawhi Leonard netting 17. The Spurs had twenty turnovers but most of that nullified when you shoot nearly 70% from the Arc and 60% from the field.

The 'Wolves were in the game until midway through the 3rd frame as thy dug themselves a hole they couldn't get out of playing against the "Best in the West".  'Wolves Big Nikola Pekovic had a game-high 22 points  and six boards as Kevin Love only had 14 points and seven boards. The Wolves poor-shooting from both the field and Arc put them in the Spurs Way in this one.

The Spurs move to a solid 29-8 as "Spur
Wars" has begun in the West. The 'Wolves again fall under the .500 mark at 18-19 as though they will have an allergic reaction if they go five games over .500.
