It was more of a formality than anything as he was going nowhere as he knew it the Dodgers knew it and they just had to sit down and start at around north of "Justin of Comerica" and Kid Felix Cash to get something done.

Breaking News from numerous Media Outlets the L.A. Dodgers have reportedly inked the 2013 Senior Circuit Cy Young Winner Clayton Kershaw to a 7-year Deal worth $215 Million to make hims the highest paid Arm in any rotation in the show. Kershaw's Numbers speak for themselves as he has won two Cy Young's in the last three seasons and has been dominant since he came up in 2008 with the Dodgers.

A former HS Teammate of "Restore the Roar" QB Matthew Stafford Kershaw since coming up in 2008 getting 22 starts then has been 77-46 with an ERA 2.60 and 1,206 K's and only 393 free passes. A durable pitcher as well as started 182 games out of 184 he has participated in. Kershaw won't be 26 years of age until Mid-March of this year as the Dodgers put themselves in the running for a Chip for years to come.
