The Cleveland Cavaliers were going to see what they were made of on a back to back Motel Swing as last night they beat the Lakers in Staples Team 16 Chips Set Up. Tonight was a different animal as they faced the Portland Trailblazers not even 24 hours after beating the Lakers and they hung tough through three frames.
Behind "Monster Nights" from the Blazers two 2013-14 All-Stars Damian Lillard (28 pts 6 rebs 5 asst) and the "L-Train" LaMarcus Aldridge (32 pys 18 rebs) the Blazers hold off a tired but feisty Cavs Bunch 108-96 in the Rose Garden turned Moda Center. The Blazers +15 from the Arc put them into the Winner's Circle along with playing after a home-cooked meal.
The Cavs playing tough were in their for three frames and stayed close all the way to the end when the Blazers hit the Penalty it was over. Luol Deng continues to make a lot of friends playing with the Cavs as he had a Cavs-High 25 points after giving the Lakers 27 last night. Cavs PG Kyrie Irving 21 points and Dion Waiters 18 points were behind Luol as the Cavs Front Line could do nothing wit the L-Train. Blazers Starter outscored Cavs Starters 90-69 and if Waiters doesn't go 18 they get blown out the building.
Rip City stays ahead of the struggling Thunder moving to 29-9 as the Cavs fall to 14-25...
