If the Pelicans could only field a full roster for at least a month they would wreak havoc on the West. As for tonight vs the visiting Houston Rockets the Pelicans had them where they wanted them until James Harden strikes!

Harden his  game-winning "J" just under 30 seconds to go to beat the Pelicans and add to the Rockets Win Streak of three. Harden led the Rockets with 26 points and seven assists as Rockets PF Terence Jones added a robust 25 points and eight boards. Jones has been playing out of his mind since joining the Starting Line Up and the Rockets have to be elated as they have four major player with Jones, Harden, Parsons, and Dwight. Speaking of "Dwight of Three Stripes"  he chipped in with 12 points and eleven boards. The Rockets shooting over 500% bailed them out as they shot 25 of 41 from the Stripe as Dwight and T-Jones combined to shoot a dismal 9-21. Moving forward that will be the Rockets Achilles Heel in Winning Time as they cannot win "Big" shooting like that from the line Period!

The Pelicans get 35 points including six Money Balls from Eric "On the Trading Block" Gordon. If Gordon played 65 of his 82 games every year I still wouldn't have given him a Max Deal...no way never been a real fan of his just putting it out there. Big Anthony Davis added 24 points and seven boards as the Pelicans needed both Jrue Holiday and "Reke-Havoc" Evans on this night as both were out due to injuries.

The Rockets 2nd in the Southwest behind Spurs Community at 26-14. The Pelicans still a work in progress fall to 15-23.
