The Houston Rockets couldn't have played a better half as they hit everything on their way top a 73-59 lead at Intermission vs the OKC Thunder. Red Nation had to be thinking if they catch us the game will be in the 120s right? Well the only team to get in the 100s was the Thunder and the Rockets didn't get to the Century Mark now that is some Hog Wash from Clutch City right there with Dwight Howard and James Harden supposedly locked in and near 100% healthy.
The Thunder come back from a 73-59 halftime deficit to get a 104-92 "W" as they out score the Rockets 45-19 in the 2nd half. Yes Red Nation scored 10 points in the 3rd and only 9 points in the 4th frame as if that wasn't enough Regulators report OKC Star Kevin Durant goes for a game-high 36 points as he shoots 18 of 20 from the Charity Stripe. The Thunder just made baskets they were not making in the 1st half and took the Rockets out of transition and made them execute in the half court. Reggie Jackson had 23 points for OKC with six thefts and "Air Congo" Serge Ibaka added 21 points and grabbed fifteen Oranges.
Then Rocket lived by the Money Ball...and died by the Money Ball as that was evident in a 12 for 34 from the Arc and they hit all 12 in the 1st half. James Harden and Terrence Jones each had 16 points while Jones grabbed thirteen Oranges. Dwight of Three Stripes had just 11 points and eight boards as the Rockets needed to go to him more in the Pint with the lead coming out after Intermission. Dwight wasn't too happy after the game as he needs to step his game up then call folks out. He needs to lead by setting a solid example or the Rockets will be out quickly in Winning Time in the West.
The Thunder moves to 29-10 as the Rockets fall to 26-15...
