Looking at the final numbers before the game one would have said that the Saints pulled it off as thy beat the Seahawks. Well take away the 4th and final frame the Saints get hammered again and that final score was more lopsided than you think.
The Saints again didn't learn their lesson as they fell behind 13-0 which included a fumble by Saints RB Mark Ingram that resulted in the score moving from 6-0 Hawks to 13-0 Hawks. The Saints Run "D" could not stop Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch who again ran haywire and for 140 yards on 28 carries and he out two of the twenty-eight carries in the Saints End Zone. QB RW3 passed for only 103 yards on 9 of 18 and for the Seahawks to get to the Big Bowl #48...they will need to have more Vertical Passing game than that.
The Saints QB Drew Brees ended up with 309 Passing Yards but 275 of that was in the 4th and final frame. The Saints didn't out up any points early or in the fist three frames and that erased any hope of winning this ball game. TE Jimmy Graham caught a Pig for 8 yards and that is on Jimmy Graham. Marquis Colston Brees' #1 target for years caught 11 Pigs for 144 yards running what looked to be the same route on half of those Pigs. Who Dat will remember the two stops in the Hawks Nest 206 and they have to build their Team in the Off-Season to overcome those two performances.
The Seahawks now hold Home-Field as they would love to get the 49ers but the Panthers might be coming as well as they are just as dangerous if not more dangerous. NFC Championship Game is next week in Seattle...
