The Pittsburgh Steelers Franchise QB Big Ben Roethlisberger had minor knee surgery and he will be reportedly ready for Camp LaTrobe when it opens in late July. Nothing to be concerned coming out of Steelers Camp but they all felt that Ben should have it now so he could be ready for camp.
The Steel Curtain also inks 2013 7th round pick Nick Williams of Samford University to a four-year deal. The Steelers have now signed eight of their nine 2013 draft picks. As we go to press Williams will most likely be on the Depth Chart at Right Defensive End behind Brett Keisel and Cameron Heyward.
Steelers now have Today and tomorrow for their final set of OTA's for the 2013 Season. They will hold a mandatory mini camp on June 11 through June 13 next week. That will be followed by Rooks and Vets getting ready for that Camp LaTrobe Training Camp 2K13 in late July. Steelers Nation this will be the season where a lot of young players will be counted o to play a somewhat bigger role than usual.
