The L.A Kings will not have any shot at winning the series vs the Chicago Blackhawks if they resort to some of the "Stuff" they did or didn't do in game one. They said coming in the Kings are more physical well the Hawks didn't get that message. The only period the Monarchs did any damage as far as keeping Hawks Net Minder Crawford busy was in the 3rd frame. The Monarchs were not aggressive enough with the puck instead they tried to stay too busy hitting Hawks then hitting the Net for some scoring chances hence Hawks lead series 1-0 after a 2-1 win.

The Kings struck first on a goal off of Right Winger Justin Williams skate. It wasn't slap shot or wrister but a rebound attempt. Its funny how things to happen when your putting the Frozen One on net. The Blackhawks won the first period with 17 shots on goal to the Kings six. The 2nd frame the Hawks stayed busy and started to attack the stick side of Kings Net Minder Jonathan Quick. Look if Quick sees it the Puck will not reach its intended target. Sharpie #10...Patrick Sharp gets wrister to go to tie things up in the 2nd and then Hossa gets redirect off of Keith's Twig some 2 minutes later to make it 2- 1 Hawks as that was the final score.

Quick stopped 34 of 36 but Crawford was just as good even though he wasn't as busy until the 3rd stopping 21 of 22. The Kings must play at a faster pace and I think the Hawk might be too skilled and fast for the Monarchs. Game 2 is tomorrow night at the Madhouse on Madison at 8pm ET on NHL on NBA. Hawk lead the Western Conference Finals 1-0 over the Monarchs.
