Notre Dame weathered a few late runs by the Wheat Shockers and beat them 81-70. It was not Notre Dame's best player in Combo Guard Jerian Grant but the other four starters that combined for 66 points and a slick 9 for 16 from deep. ND PG Demetrius Jackson led the Irish with 20 points as Shock Nation's Fred Van Vleet led all scorers with 25 points. The Irish now gets the #1 rated and 37-0 UK Wildcats in the Midwest Finals.
