The Toronto Raptors had every intention of going into the AA 305 in Miami and getting a "W" as it was business as usual for the New 2013-14 Raptors. Riding a five-game winning streak and playing with appears to their Core moving a forward and a solid one at that came within a play or two of beating the Heat.

The Raptors just down 52-51 at the break but a 84-79 lead after three had everything rolling in the right direction. The problem with playing the Heat when its close they have the King...and by golly you don't. King James goes for 30 on a slick and effortless 12 of 18 including 6 of 7 from the line. He was joined by Wade County's 14 points and Michael "B-Easy" Beasley who at times looks every bit the part of a Lottery Pick with 17 points. The Heat made a few key defensive stops late to seal the "W" as Raptors Lead in a Starring role PG Kyle Lowry missed a potential game-tying Money Ball that went in an out under at 5.9 seconds left.

Lowry had 14 points an nine assists but it was Shooting Guard DeMar Derozan who is making a strong case to be in the 2013-14 All-Star Game with 26 points and seven assists. Raptor Bigs (who have been extremely impressive and work well together) Amir Johnsion (17 pts 8 rebs) and Jonas Valanciunas (17 pts 5 rebs) exposed where the Heat are vulnerable and that is in the paint.

The Dinosaurs despite the efforts fall to 16-16 but lead the Atlantic Division. The Heat move to 26-8 as they lead the Southeast and currently 2nd in the eastern Conference.
