The Lakers needed this one and for a moment there the Lakers looked like they were going to lose to a line up that had Reinforcements of these names...Sasha Pavlovic, Eric Maynor, Luke Babbitt, Victor Clavor, and Meyers Leonard. Not that they can't play but that group was digging inot the Lakers A-Team of the Kobe System, Dwight of Three Stripes, the Spaniard...Gasol, the Real BLAKEshow, and the "Earl of Staples" Clark. The Lakers Gods would have never lived that one down with s defeat at the Hands of those Blazers.

The Lakers were down 90-88 after three frames and that's when the Kobe System took over as he looked like Michael Jeffrey Jordan before had All-Star Teammates and an All-Star Mr. Pip 33...Scottie Pippen. Kobe went for 47 points including 18 for 18 from the Charity Stripe as Staples Purple and Gold needed all that. Coming at the Kobe System and the Lakers in general was Rookie Point God Damian Lillard who went for a cool 38 points and had nine helpers. D.L. of East Bay by way of Weber State would be all over the News if he was in a Major Market and that is not a shot at one of the great NBA Cities but its reality on how the NBA News is covered. He is a fabulous talent and for all those Blazer Misses on Air Jordan and KD...the Basketball Gods gave them one...For the Love of Planet Spalding Oranges.

The Lakers in Supporting Roles...Dwight Howard (20 pts 10 rebs 3 blks) and Gasol (23 pts 9 assts 7 rebs 3 blks) did their part and if the Lakers can get that out of them with a healthy NASHty with the Real BLAKEshow...watch out #1 seed in the West.

The Lakers move up one full game on the Jazz as the Jazz will host the T'Wolves on Friday with the LAkers hosting #DUBnation on Friday as well.
