As the 2013 NFL Draft is near there are plenty of Wide Outs for the taking in the 2013 Draft and that's why you might see a few sliding into the Late 1st or early to middle 2nd round. The Bluedude after careful consideration has a Top 10 that might surprise you but I am going on not combine as I saw most during the College Football Season of 2012 and I drew my own conclusions. I truly think there will be maybe four WRs taken in the 1st Round but a Total of 8-10 by the end of the 2nd round.
The Bluedude's Top 10 WR Rankings for 2013 NFL Draft:
Note: * Draft Stock Climbing and could move up further during Draft
1. Tavon Austin Morgantown U....a jitterbug in Space and hands that are worthy of a Top 10 Pick. Watch the 49ers try to make a move early to get into that Top 10 to get Austin.
2. DeAndre Hopkins Death Valley S.C Orange...Maybe the most NFL Ready WR on the Board as I saw him torch an LSU Secondary in the Georgia Dome...Texans need a #1 Soon as Dre 305 ages...Hopkins might be the Ticket.
3. * Justin Hunter Rocky Top UT...I see Patterson all over Tape but Hunter jumps out as well with even more Athleticism and if I were a betting man I would take Hunter as he has way more Upside than UT Teammate Patterson
4. Cordarrelle Patterson Rocky Top UT...In Space for a man that is as Big and agile as he is C.P would do wonders underneath in Coverage as his "YAC" at UT inn 2012 was off the Charts. Hunter a better Route Runner at this point.
5. Robert Woods Men of Troy...He is all of a sudden a forgotten man because of his Teammate who will be the #1 WR off the Board in 2014 and a Top 5 in Marquise Lee as He and Woods were HS Teammates. Watch the Pats try to get him as he is a NFL-Ready.
6. Keenan Allen Cal...Forget the 40-time he reminds me of a smoother "Throw me the Damn Ball" Ex-Jet Keyshawn Johnson. Allen is a Football Players first and what i mean by that he was recruited out of HS in the Virginia Area to Be Safety for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide but chose to go to Cal to play with his Older Bro who was Cal's QB at the time. Vikes maybe at 23 or 25...just maybe most likely a early 2nd rounder.
7. * Quinton Patton La Tech....the Home of NBA HOF Karl "the Mailman" Malone and NFL HOF OT Willie Roaf...Patton is Anquan Boldin walking as he is a Tough, Physical WR that runs like a Running Back. He will go Early to middle 2nd Round as many Teams have him moving on up like the Jefferson's.
8. Terrance Williams Baylor...Yes RG3 won the Heisman and this was his WR doing a lot of that damage. T-Will is a Glider and will eventually be a helluva 2nd Wheel on a Team. Route-Runner and toughness to go with a 6-1 200 plus El Bee's worth of frame. He would be a Steal if he gets out of Round 2.
9. Stedman Bailey Morgantown U...the Other Half of the Geno 4 Heisman Duo of Geno to Austin or Geno to Bailey. Electric and bigger than Austin but not a Gadget like Austin,. This Dude is WR and he makes play in Space and his "YAC" like Austin was ridiculous in 2012. Schematically speaking he can play Short or Long Passing Game.
10. Ryan Swope 12th Man College Station TX...a productive WR for the Aggies and 2012 Heisman Winner Johnny Football's #1 Target in 2012. Solid Play-Maker and put up nine grabs and 121 yds on Jonathan Banks and Mississippi State Bulldogs (2012 Thorpe Award Winner). Swope also put 111 Yards and eleven grabs on Dee Miliner of "Bama (#1 CB on 2013 NFL Draft Board). Turn on the Tape he can seperate from Bump and Run all day.
All these WRs should be gone by Round Three as its a Deep and Talented group.
