The Atlanta Braves have been smoking out the gate and no one has been able to stop them. Tonight at Turner Field Royals Starter Jeremy Guthrie had it going as he allowed only two runs courtesy of Braves Hot Corner Juan Francisco who took Guthrie deep in the 2nd and 7th as the Royals still were tied 2-2. The Bottom half of the 8th Inning is where it all turned into Home Run Derby at Turner Field. Jason Heyward, Justin Upton and Dan Uggla all go Solo Big Flies in the 8th inning and the Braves go onto win 6-3. All those Shots were off Royals reliever Kelvin Herrera who took the L. The Braves now move to 12-1 on the season and the Royals a solid 7-6.

The Braves also get a smooth outing from Ace RHP Kris Medlen who went 7 innings and giving up two runs including a Solo Bomb to Royals Second Baseman Chris Getz. Medlen also struck out five and gave up six hits. The Braves win their 10 straight and it is a combination of Grade A starting pitching and Grade A solid hitting. Braves newly-acquired OF Justin Upton has been the Ticket as he continues to lead the Major in Bombs garnishing his 8th but he only has twelve ribbies as he usually hits with no Ducks on the Pond. Switching gears watch those New K.C. Royals as they will be in that upper echelon in the AL Central.
