The San Antonio Spurs have been playing the last quarter of the 2012-13 season without two its its top three players in Point God TP9 and one of the World's Best Closers in Manu Ginoboli. Having said that they had Denver's Number in the beginning of a 96-86 Nuggets Win that puts them in a tie for the #1 Seed in the West with OKC owning the tiebreaker.

With 2nd leading scorer Danillo Gallanari out the minutes and opportunities for Nugs Wings Wilson "Dr." Chandler and Corey "Brew Crew" Brewer go up and they have not disappointed. Chandlers led all scorers vs the Spurs with 29 points, eight rebounds, and four assists while Brew dropped in 28 points. Nugs 2G or Point Forward Iggy of Mile High once again gets his inner Ty Lawson (Nuggets PG out with Leg Injury) on with a Triple-Double...12 points, thirteen rebounds, and ten assists. The Spurs couldn't stop the Nugs once they get going as they came in with the Best Record in the Logo behind Home-Cooked Meals at 36-3.

The Spurs were led by Duncan and Gary Neal's 17 apiece as the Spurs other Top Players Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green combined only for 18 points. Are the Spurs trying to get that #1 seed or are they playing possum to get the #2 seed as a potential match up with the #8 seed L.A. Lakers is looming? Only time will tell because the Young Gunz OKC are definitely gunning for #1.

Note: Nuggets SF "Dr. Chandler"...Wilson Chandler is an Unrestricted Free Agent at the end of the 2012-13 Season and will be a Hot Commodity on the Market as he will command Portland Trailblazer SF Nikolas Batum Money. That Contract was worth some 4-years $44.62 Million as the Blazers matched what the T'Wolves Offer Sheet was in 2012.
