Ok I told you a few days ago I was hearing Top 5 Class of 2015 Combo Guard Malik Newman was choosing between Kentucky and Mississippi State and he was leaning to State. Well Mr. Newman committed to "Starkvegas" today as it came down to two key decisions.

Newman knows the next level is fast-becoming a Combo Guard league with Guards who can shoot it from deep, get to the rim, and mid-range and of course pass 4th, 5th or six! Newman with Tyler Ulis at UK and 2015 5-Star PG Isaiah Briscoe already signed he wasn't going to be given the reigns at the PG with Ulis there already and Briscoe playing thee and off Ulis as well.

At "Starkvegas" he will be given "Carte Blanche" to do what he wants to do and there was a reason Ben Howland was hired as he is high-profile that could land Newman and other elite Mississippi Prospects.

Secondly it was Nike vs Adidas and Three Stripes probably went all out as Nike strikes once and does not negotiate. Yes figure that out I know what's going on regardless of what you hear believe that!

Moving to that Jameis Winston vs Marcus Mariota Debate it isn't even close. Winston is a proven pocket-passer behind center making his progressions (Reads) from day 1 dropping back. I get all that Marcus Mariota's Character is off the charts and in a perfect world we would love a QB that is elite on the next level and id perfect off the field.

Now having said all of that I am not touching a Spread-Option Offense QB in College as its been proven that really doesn't work. Isn't Mariota Geno Smith as he ran a similar offense in Morgantown? "Pocket Hercules" Mo Jones-Drew was recently quoted as saying, "Mariota is Blaine Gabbert"...he might not be Gabbert playing but he is in that area or block.

Tampa Bay your on the clock and your pick will be "Famous Jameis" before Rodger can put you on the clock. The Tennessee Titans are the real #1 as they really have to think what direction they will be going if Mariota is on the board or do they trade out?

2015 NFL Draft is on theeee way this Thursday April 30th...from the "Second City" the Windy City!
