I know Hawks Nation I saw the whole darn thing talking "Krugs" Markus Kruger with the minor (Tripping) with just over two minutes to go. Then a nice save by Darling on the "Slapper" with a "Wrister" getting past him on the ensuing shot by Jarome Iginla and didn't he also play with the Atlanta Flames as well as Calgary?

The Indian Head was down 1-0 after one as the Avs scored the only goal in the 1st on a Cody McLeod wrister. Patrick Sharp then "Lights the Lamp" almost midway through the 2nd tying the game up at 1-1. The "Avs" come right back on a PPG by Iginla as that would be the reoccurring theme on this night for the Indian Head.

In the 3rd with the Hawks down 2-1 it was Brandon Saad with a tip-in with under five minutes remaining and imagine getting the frozen one to the blue paint as anything can happen. Then with 2:02 remaining in the 3rd the Zebras get "Krugs" tripping on a tripping call! Iginla then deposits the puck right in the net on the Avs 2nd power play on the night and their 2nd successful one at that!

Hawks finish 4th in the west thanks to the Blue Notes beating the Wild earlier in the night. Now we get into the "Fight for Lord Stanley" as we will get the pairings here real soon...
