Yes Tigers royalty Miggy Cabrera hit the games first run in an RBI Single off Sox starter Chris Sale in the bottom half of the first frame. Little did Sox Nation or Tigers Nation know the Sox would outscore the Motor City Kitties and starter Anibal Sanchez 12-2 after that for a 12-3 slow-pitch softball-esque score.
It was the 2K15 South Side Hit Men starting the game off in the 3rd with a four run frame highlighted by an RBI-double by Melkey Cabrera and a three-run smash by Adam LaRoche as the Sox went up 4-1. The Sox then put up a crooked seven in the 4th as they chase starter Sanchez (L, 1-2) going 3 1/3 frames giving up nine runs on nine hits with two bombs.
That 4th frame was highlighted by an Jose Abreu "Granny" as the Chi-Sox would go onto win 12-3. Sox Ace Sale went six allowing two runs on four hits as he struck out six walking one. The only mistake he gave up was a J.D. Martinez solo HR in the 4th after the Sox led 11-1.
The South Siders needed that as they stop a losing streak of two games and move to 4-6. The Tigers fall to 9-2 and the one question is do they have enough arms in that rotations after David Price if Justin Verlander continues to struggle to get to the hill?
