The Oklahoma City Thunder needed to get a "W" in Miami on Tuesday Night for more reasons than one. the most important being a win vs the Heat would put them over that vaunted .500 mark that looked a cinch when @kdTREY5 OKC's Slim Reaper came back from that foot injury.
Well the game was no cinch as the Heat lead at the break 50-49 with OKC finally pulling getting the lead at the end of the 3rd. It was a nip and tuck affair as OKC took a 72-67 lead into the 4th only for Miami to cut that lead to two points on three different occasions.
That game was 84-82 OKC after a Dwayne Wade "J" as OKC closed on a 10-4 run behind a Reggie Jackson money ball, six points by Russell Westbrook, and a Steven Adams lay-up for a OKC 94-86 win.
Russ and KD both go 19 points as Russ also had ten helpers and six boards with KD grabbing eight Spalding oranges to go with eight helpers. OKC looking like a jump-shooting team was just 6 for 10 from the stripe. Reggie Jackson added 16 points off the bench furthering his case to be "Paid-In-Full" by the Thunder.
Wade County led the Heat with 18 points with Chris Bosh adding 16 points and grabbing seven boards. Hassan Whiteside was the only other Heat Starter and player in double figures with 10. Miami couldn't take care of the orange committing 19 turnovers at home is inexcusable.
OKC moves to 21-20 in 2014-15 and write that down Thunder nation. The Heat falls to 18-23 as they just look like they need to reassemble some parts...
