GAME OUTLOOK
The Buckeyes will have to take away Marcus Mariota on the ground and RB Royce Freeman. They must have a man on the ball carrier and on eon Mariota if need be. That also means a single safety high and the strong safety playing close to the line or in the box. Will the Ducks run at Buckeyes All-American Joey Bosa as he is a a future "Monsters Inside QB's" at Bluedude Sportstalk and a 3-4 Defensive End Steelers Nation looking like former Steelers great DE Aaron Smith.
The Ducks will be missing the two top wide outs as well and that is huge. But the offense is predicated by gadgets and pre-determined looks and reads so almost everything is replaceable except Mariota and Freeman. The Buckeyes run almost a similar offense so their ""D should be up to speed.
As for the Buckeyes QB Cardale Jones has a huge arm and has weapons all over the place. RB Ezekial Elliott torched the "A Whole Bunch of Badgers" nearly running back from Nap Town to Columbus. Then he torched the Tide as the Louisiana State Troopers stopped him from leaving Louisiana at the state line. He has some current Colts RB "A Boom Boom Boom" Herron in him. Jones can also run the Nike Pig Skin so lookout as the Buckeyes are a physical bunch as are the Ducks as there will be no Donald Duck in this one or Aflac!
The Ducks Secondary played extremely well vs Jameis Winston but they are without 1st Team and 2014 Jim Thorpe Award Finalists Ifo Ekpre-Olomu who tore his ACL in December practices...he is a baaaaaad man and was a Day 1 NFL 2015 Draftee. The Ducks played more zone coverage without him but they still made plays on the back end with both safeties keeping everything in front of them. Both Buckeyes WR Devin Smith and Michael Thomas are deep threats and the Ducks will keep their peepers on both.
Who controls the line of scrimmage? Who wins the turnover battle? Than who makes the all important Big Plays or "Splash Plays"? College Football Heads we will remember this one as its the first College Football Super Bowl from North Texas where else as "Everything is bigger in Texas"!
