Top 2 Games in "Logo Watch" for Tuesday December 9, 2014...
#WeTheNorth (16-5) @ #BelievelandHoops (12-7)
7pm ET
The Raptors are 2-3 without All-Star 2G DeMar DeRozan and they are game to game and an entirely different team without him. They beat the Nugs last night in Extras as it was super-sub Lou-Will leading the way with 26 points and Patrick Patterson's timely shooting from the arc.
The Cavs arrive in first place in the Central 1/2 ahead of the Bulls and they have found their identity just in time to reel off seven wins in a row. The Catalyst of course has been King James as he needs the ball and everyone else including Kyrie playing off the King. The Cavs will try to avenge an earlier loss to the Raptors at the "Q" with Believeland coming off big win last night in Brooklyn over the Nets in front of William and Kate of England!
#MavsNation (16-6) @ #Grit&GrindBealeStreet (16-4)
8pm ET on NBA T.V.
The Mavericks are rolling and at 16-6 with a wave of youthfulness and veteran leadership they are a real threat in the west. The Mavs G.O.A.T. from Germany Dirk-ilicious Nowitzki has been nothing but delicious and "Mississippi Lightning" Monta Ellis has assumed the Go-To-Guy 1B role.
The Grizzlies playing through the "Grind House Bigs" in @macBO50 Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol have been consistent. That subtle change of putting the "Grind Father" Tony Allen at the SF and Courtney Lee at the 2G has paid big dividends. The catalyst has been Mike Conley Jr. having another All-Star type season at the Point.
All the Grizz Happenings start and stop with Mr. Conley and of the three former Buckeyes in Greg Oden, Conley Jr., and Daequan Cook it's Conley that has been far and away the best Pro and the only one left on an NBA Active roster...how 'bout that Memphis BBQ!
