That's what you call carrying the "City with Big Shoulders" with the Bears looking towards 20125 and the Bulls playing awful at the Madhouse the Indian Head is carrying its weight and then some. An exciting game at the U.C. resulted in the Indian Head reaching back late in the 3rd to hit the winner's circle in this one!

The Wild had the only goal in frame one with a Thomas Vanek goal making it 1-0 Wild. The Hawks with a furious 2nd frame gets three goals in period two behind Brent Seabrook, Captain Serious, and Marian Hossa making it 3-1 Hawks.    

The Wild though nit to be denied or blown out by the Hawks answered their call in the 3rd with two goals Nino Niederreiter and Marco Scandella making tying the game up at 3-3. Then on Hawks power play with under four minutes to go it was "Brooksie" to "Toewser" to "Kaner" for his 15th on the season and that would Dasher, Dancer, and Prancer for Hawks Nation! Hawks add an empty netter from Ben Smith his 4th and go onto win 5-3 in dramatic fashion.

Hawks net minder Antti Raanta stopped 26 of 29 SOG with the Wild's Niklas Backstrom halting 34 of 38 Hawks SOG. The Indian Heads was 1 for 3 on the power play with the Wild 0 for 3. Hawks also out shoot the Wild 39-29 moving to a central leading 22-9-1 with 45 points. The Wild falls to 16-12-1 with 33 points.
