The Chicago Bulls just need a days rest after playing in a few back to backs from mid-December 'til now. Not making any excuses to what the Brooklyn Nets did to the Bulls on this night but See Red is running on fumes and needed a "Boost" from the Luv-A-Bulls, Benny the Bull and even Bulls Nation and that still wouldn't have worked.
Brooklyn with the nee approach to rotations with former All-Star Deron Williams coming off the bench simply just took it to the Bulls in every facet of the game. "Points in the Paint"and staying in "Attack Mode".
The Bulls leading 31-24 after one was outscored by the Nets 72-51 from the 2nd frame to the final horn. It was Brooks Lopez dominating the Bulls on the interior with a game-high 29 points (13-21 FG) and Joe Johnson's 20 points and eleven boards.
The Bulls get 23 points (5-9 3pt FG) from Bloodline Mike Dunleavy Jr. but that Five-Star Bulls back court of D-Rose and the "See Red Butler" combined for 5 for 27 including 0 for 8 from the Arc with dozen points. Pau Gasol (10 pts 7 rebs) and Joakim Noah (12 pts 12 rebs) were the only other Bulls starters in double figures.
